Bronco aired on ABC beginning in September, 1958 and going through April, 1962. It was filmed in black and white and ran for an hour.

Ty Hardin (b. 1930) played the title character Bronco Layne. Bronco was a former confederate officer who wandered the west at the end of the Civil War.

At times Bronco alternated in weekly viewings with Cheyenne and Sugarfoot.
